This collaborative Protection Profile (cPP) for Database Management Systems v1.3 is a Protection Profile (PP) that meets the requirements for cPPs described in the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement.

The product type of the Target of Evaluation (TOE) described in this cPP is a database management system (DBMS). The DBMS will have the capability to limit DBMS access to authorized users, enforce Discretionary Access Controls (DAC) on objects under the control of the database management system based on user and optionally, group authorizations, and provide user accountability via audit of users' actions.
