Target of Evaluation (TOE) is Virtual Private Network (VPN) client software. It is responsible for establishing a trusted channel for TCP/IP communication between the TOE and another device or server part of the Operational Environment. The established channel is encrypted and mutually authenticated, ensuring that TOE is communicating with the intended VPN Gateway and that the gateway is communicating with a trusted TOE. The underlying operating system supported by TOE is Android or BTM-R OS depending on the used hardware platform.
